What is Meditation?

Meditation in Buddhism means “effortlessly remaining in what is happening.” This condition can be achieved by calming and focusing the mind, by realizing compassion and wisdom, as well as by working with the body’s energy paths and meditation on Buddha forms of energy and light. The most effective way is the constant identification with one’s own Buddha nature full of joy unlimited space. These methods are taught in the Diamond Way. When the oneness of the seer, what is seen and the act of seeing is unbroken – both during meditation sessions and between them – the goal of the Great Seal (skt. Mahamudra), he has already been achieved.
All Diamond Way centers offer introduction and instructions on the basics of meditation.
